Selby Jennings is exclusively partnered with one of the nation's largest supplemental insurance providers who is looking to add a Senior Manager in their Enterprise Risk group to lead the enhancement of the Enterprise Risk framework. This role will provide immense visibility to senior leaders across the organization, especially the Global Chief Risk Officer.
Responsibilities:
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Leadership:
- Lead and guide strategic initiatives for managing enterprise-wide risks.
- Establish and communicate policies and practices for identifying, assessing, setting limits, monitoring, and reporting risks.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with different departments on business strategies and risk management activities.
- Stay informed about changes and communicate them to team members, engaging with business leaders and local risk teams.
Risk Reporting:
- Lead the preparation of enterprise risk reports, offering stakeholders a comprehensive view of the company's risk profile and management activities.
- Generate reports for regulators (e.g., ORSA), rating agencies, risk committees, leadership, and the Board.
Insurance and Surety Programs:
- Direct and plan the implementation of enterprise-wide insurance programs, including Property & Casualty and Executive & Management Liability coverage.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and brokers.
Continuous Improvement:
- Challenge and guide the ERM team to proactively monitor projects and existing processes for opportunities to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
Strategic Risk Management Initiatives:
- Drive and lead the development, coordination, communication, and implementation of strategic risk management initiatives directed by leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree In risk management, finance, accounting, business administration or a related field (Master's degree desired)
- 10+ of related professional experience
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing Enterprise Risk Programs
- Five years in a leadership/supervisory capacity (Preferred)
- Professional Certifications such as: CRM, ARM, CRMP, FRM, PMP, etc.
- Insurance experience required
