We are currently representing a renowned client with 3 decades of expertise as a prominent provider of global solutions for wealth and succession planning. Operating in more than 25 markets spanning in 4 continents globally, our client offers global multi-jurisdictional unit-linked life insurance and annuities.
The Candidate
- Possess over 5 years of experience in a Compliance or Audit role, preferably within the banking or insurance sector
- Familiarity with Luxembourg AML laws, regulations, or equivalent knowledge from another EU Member state
- Ability to effectively balance legal requirements with the business's commercial considerations
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Strong analytical skills, demonstrating initiative, planning, and organizational proficiency
- Fluent in English; proficiency in any other European language is highly advantageous.
The Role
- Contribute to implementing Periodic Review/Remediation processes and suggest improvements for future enhancements.
- Perform quality assurance review to identify missing or outdated client information, ensuring policy alignment with profile details, and provide constructive feedback to the initial reviewer.
- Serve as a primary contact for the first line of defense regarding anti-financial crime matters, ensuring the team takes necessary actions to collect required documentation.
- Assist the Transaction Team in applying Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) during periodic reviews, supporting the Team Leader in conducting investigations.
