We are currently representing an incredibly exciting Event Driven Hedge Fund with their search for an Analyst to join an established, highly ambitious investment team.
Responsibilities
- Merger Arb and Special situations coverage across equities, including: mis-priced equities such as IPOs, spinoffs, and major index additions.
- Responsibility for major trade generation & development
- Assist Portfolio Manager to focus on high-value trades
Requirements
- 5 years+ experience either coming from fundamental equity / event-driven investing on the buy-side and/or sell-side.
- Highly detailed approach, ability to dig deep into prospectuses.
- Be able to work independently and form their own ideas, whilst working well in a small dynamic team.
- Ideally will have exposure to covering developed markets (US and Europe)
