Requirements:
- Solid understanding of Computer Science principles.
- Proficient knowledge in SQL, database administration, and relational data models.
- Proficiency in administering Microsoft SQL Server.
- Capability to create or enhance databases and data models.
- Strong expertise in ETL, utilizing SSIS or other ETL platforms.
- Ability to develop and improve SSIS import and export jobs.
- Familiarity with Tidal or similar job scheduling platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Experience collaborating with data vendors to establish new import feeds and address data issues.
- Analysis and documentation of vendor API/file feeds.
- Development of data management and data quality rules/processes.
- Proficiency in profiling vendor data to determine validation needs.
- Creation of ETL, matching, validation, and derived data rules.
- Assurance of data integrity across all downstream consumers of EDM data.
- Exposure to natural language processing for matching and validation.
- Tier 1 support for the EDM platform.
- Resolution of data quality issues identified through validation rules or by business teams.
- Follow-up and troubleshooting of Tidal job errors.
- Support for data matching reviews conducted by the Research team.
- Manual data updates as required, such as during company mergers and acquisitions.
- Periodic disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) testing.
- Periodic data migration across multiple environments (Dev/UAT/Prod).
- Experience in supporting and managing applications in AWS, including setting up VPN and OpenVPN.
- General system administration in a cloud environment.
- Project management skills, including the ability to test and comprehend business requirements.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced agile environment, with the capability to reprioritize deliverables as business needs evolve.
- Flexibility and proficiency in managing ambiguity and complex problem-solving.
- Demonstrates conviction of belief while maintaining an open mind and humility towards learning.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience in integrating with Machine Learning applications using Python, Java, or C++.
- Open-source contributions.
- Development experience with insight-based systems in the field of healthcare or within Hedge Fund companies.
Education:
- BS/MS or other closely related fields with 5-8 years of experience.
