As a Deal Sourcing Associate, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities. You will work closely with the investment team and the Business Development team to build strategic relationships, perform due diligence, and contribute to the growth and success of the firm. Business Development Associate Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to identify potential investment opportunities
- Evaluate target companies based on financial performance, market potential, competitive positioning, and growth prospects.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including entrepreneurs, executives, and advisors.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to expand our firm's network and identify new business opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of investment proposals, financial models, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the investment team to execute deals, including negotiation, transaction structuring, and contract review.
- Deal Sourcing - finding new investment opportunities
- Provide ongoing support to portfolio companies by monitoring performance, identifying growth opportunities, and assisting with strategic initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics
Business Development Associate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in investment banking, sales, private equity, venture capital, or consulting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the investments space including knowledge of its various segments, trends, and challenges.
- Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal and networking abilities, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
