Core Responsibilities
* Lead and manage private capital raise processes across multiple product lines, ranging from private equity and credit to venture
capital and real assets
* Manage deal team interactions with clients and investors
* Lead client communications on fundraise activity, roadshows and marketing materials
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with North American based institutional investors and travel regularly with GPs on roadshows
* Take initiative for the origination of new business for Asante Capital, working with the Partners and utilising a network to identify potential new clients
* Develop Asante's public image in the private markets community - attending conferences, sitting in industry panels, Q&A's and writing for industry publications.
Evaluation
* Deep knowledge of GP clients & markets
* Ability to proactively and independently manage fundraises
* Ability to provide strategic advice on deals to GPs
* Strong knowledge of the LP market
* Ability to understand, comment and advise on financial and legal analysis
Qualifications & Experience
* Must possess knowledge of alternative assets industry
* Must have prior experience in a client facing role
* Must have a strong understanding of private equity
* Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
* 10+ years of finance experience in investment banking, investor relations, private equity, consulting, or private capital placement, with ideally 6+ years of private markets fundraising
* Good command of written & spoken English
* Regulatory qualifications (FINRA)
