Position Summary
The firm is seeking a Vice President to help strengthen its presence within the institutional consultant community, with an emphasis on firms based in the Eastern United States. This role plays a central part in expanding consultant awareness, improving strategy placements within research platforms, and developing meaningful relationships with field consultants, OCIOs, and other influential stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Tier 1/Tier 2 consultant relationships in the East; support select global accounts
- Build multi-level relationships across research, field, OCIO, and key decision‑makers
- Drive research ratings into tangible outcomes (searches, platform wins, mandates)
- Represent the firm through meetings, conferences, and targeted outreach
- Partner with Institutional Sales and RM to coordinate coverage and compete effectively
- Develop engagement plans, conduct strategy reviews, and align internal resources
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10 years of experience in institutional asset management, including direct responsibility for consultant coverage.
- Series 7 and 63 preferred, or willingness to obtain within six months.
- CFA, CAIA, or other relevant advanced designation preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly.
- High level of collaboration and ability to work effectively across investment, sales, and relationship teams.
- Strong prioritization skills and comfort operating in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Deep knowledge of the institutional landscape, including consultant research and ratings processes.
- Familiarity with real estate and real assets is a plus.
