Treasury Head
Key Responsibilities
- Lead liquidity, funding, and ALM activities for China operations.
- Own interest rate and liquidity risk, including positions, mark-to-market exposure, and P&L.
- Optimize the local balance sheet through interbank markets, funding instruments, and FX swaps.
- Set and oversee pricing for interbank funding and investment activities.
- Chair the local ALCO and drive sound balance sheet and liquidity decisions.
- Ensure full compliance with PBOC, SAFE, and other local regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary treasury interface with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Risk, Compliance, Finance, and business teams to support growth within risk limits.
- Promote a strong risk, governance, and compliance culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Significant treasury or ALM experience within an international bank.
- Strong hands-on experience in China onshore markets, including CNY liquidity and interbank markets.
- Deep understanding of China's regulatory framework affecting treasury activities.
- Proven ability to balance commercial outcomes with disciplined risk management.
- Senior leadership presence with credibility across regulators and internal committees.
