Trading Systems Support Analyst
The Trading Systems Support Analyst will manage widely-deployed Order Management Systems (OMS) and market data delivery systems involving every major electronic exchange and asset class.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with traders to understand their needs
- Provide level one and level two support for production systems
- Contribute to the design and implementation of support systems to enhance reliability and self-correction
- Enhance the existing Python script framework, contributing to its growth and codebase
- Support the monitoring stack and report on system status and health
- Act as the primary technical contact for brokers and exchanges
- Provide periodic after-hours coverage
This position is based in London.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a high-pressure environment, including diagnosing and resolving production issues in real time
- Solid understanding of electronic trading and/or financial instruments such as equities, futures, and options
- Strong Unix skills, programming experience in Python, and familiarity with scheduling tools like Airflow
- Good understanding of networking and system concepts
- Experience with SQL and databases is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to take on tasks of varying scope
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Passion for learning and innovative problem-solving
