Trading Systems Reliability Engineer
Our Client, a rapidly growing Systematic Hedge Fund, is looking for a pragmatic and commercially minded Reliability engineer with strong C++ dev skills to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in tech or finance and a strong understanding of system architecture and cloud technologies.
If successful, you will be able to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems, in addition to collaborating with development teams to improve system reliability and performance.
What you will do:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and performance
- Develop and implement automation tools to streamline operations
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met
Requirements
- Proven experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role
- Strong understanding of system architecture and cloud technologies
- Proficiency in C++ development, with additional knowledge of Python or C# being a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Commercially oriented mindset with a focus on business outcomes
- Experience working on the buy side is a significant positive.
- Experience with low latency order entry or market data systems is highly desirable.
