Trade Support / Operations Analyst (Hedge Fund) - Hong Kong
About the Firm:
Our client is a newly established hedge fund based in Hong Kong, led by a proven investor with a strong track record. The team is currently in build-out phase, offering an environment with broad exposure. The setup is lean, allowing close collaboration with senior leadership and involvement across different functions.
The strategy focuses on APAC long/short equities, with coverage across Korea, the US, and other global markets, particularly in cyclical sectors.
They are looking for a Trade Support / Operations Analyst to work closely with the CIO and COO. This is a broad role covering trade support and day-to-day operations, with the chance to be involved in building processes from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Support trade booking and monitor the full trade lifecycle
- Handle trade reconciliation, settlement follow-ups, and break resolution
- Assist with daily operations (cash, positions, reporting)
- Help improve operational processes as the platform grows
- Support across different operational needs
Requirements:
- 3~ years of experience in trade support / middle office / operations
- Good understanding of equity trade flow
- Detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced setup
- Willing to take on broad responsibilities in a small team environment and adapt quickly to changing business needs
