Trade Support Professional (Equities & ETFs) - Hong Kong
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily P&L and position reporting
Maintain accurate intra‑day and end‑of‑day P&L and positions; identify variances, investigate root causes, and drive corrective and preventative measures. - Resolve trade breaks & operational issues
Liaise with traders, technology teams, brokers, and operations to address trade booking discrepancies and lifecycle issues. - Support trading desk operations
Monitor trade flow, ensure timely trade capture, and manage exceptions in a high‑volume, real‑time environment. - Improve processes & automation
Build tools and scripts to automate manual workflows; enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders
Work closely with trading, risk, and technology teams to support daily activities and implement new workflow enhancements.
Key Requirements
- 3-8 years' experience in trade support, middle office, or operations within a quantitative fund, hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, or global markets environment.
- Strong understanding of equities and ETF products, trade lifecycle, and P&L concepts.
- Hands‑on automation skills in VBA, Python, or SQL (a must).
- Proven ability to analyze data, solve problems, and handle time‑sensitive issues in a dynamic trading environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership.
