A well established Growth Equity firms with offices around the country is looking to add onto their Summer 2026 Associate recruiting class. This would be a chance to join an organization with $30+ Billion in AUM as apart of their Tech division. Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Support senior team members in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in high-growth technology companies.
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess company performance, valuation, and return profiles.
- Market Research: Conduct deep industry and competitive landscape analyses to inform investment theses and identify emerging trends.
- Due Diligence: Assist in the execution of due diligence processes, including customer calls, data room analysis, and coordination with legal and financial advisors.
- Portfolio Support: Collaborate with portfolio companies to track performance, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.
- Investment Memos: Prepare clear, concise investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Help cultivate relationships with founders, operators, bankers, and other ecosystem players to enhance deal flow and market intelligence.
Requirements
- Experience: 2-3 years (at the start of the role) of experience in Tech M&A investment banking
- Education: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel; familiarity with tools like PitchBook, CapIQ, and Tableau is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for Tech: Genuine interest in technology, innovation, and the growth equity investment landscape.
