Sr. FP&A Analyst
- Lead the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes for the Life & Annuities segment.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate product performance, pricing strategies, and capital requirements.
- Analyze actual vs. forecast results, identify key drivers of variances, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Partner with Actuarial, Product Development, and Risk teams to assess the financial impact of new products and regulatory changes.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to executive leadership.
- Support strategic initiatives, including M&A analysis, reinsurance transactions, and capital optimization.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and other analytics platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably within the life insurance or annuities industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance financial statements, statutory and GAAP accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
