Sr. Analyst - Diversified Industrials
Job Details
- Support the execution of financing and advisory transactions for clients in the Diversified Industrials sector across APAC (excluding Japan), including manufacturing, logistics, capital goods, and industrial services.
- Assist in preparing financial models, pitch books, and client presentations for corporate finance, acquisition finance, project finance, and capital markets transactions.
- Conduct industry and company research to support deal origination and execution, including bench-marking, market sizing, and identifying strategic trends.
- Analyse client financial, business models, and investment strategies to support the development of tailored financial solutions.
- Collaborate with senior team members to prepare materials for internal approvals and client meetings, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in cross-border deal coordination by working with internal stakeholders across country, product, and industry teams.
- Contribute to the preparation of marketing materials and transaction documentation, ensuring alignment with client objectives and internal standards.
- Support internal knowledge sharing and team initiatives, including maintaining sector databases and transaction precedents.
Requirements
- Solid experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field, ideally with exposure to the Diversified Industrials sector and APAC markets.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and modelling, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
- Familiarity with corporate finance and M&A processes, including due diligence, valuation, and transaction execution.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is required; professional certifications (e.g., CFA Level I/II) are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build models and create clear, client-ready presentations.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn from senior colleagues.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required
