Our client is a highly regarded, well-capitalized insurance organization seeking a Senior Production Underwriter to join their Excess & Umbrella team in Southern California.

What You'll Do:
- Underwrite and produce Excess & Umbrella business across a range of complex casualty risks
- Build and grow a profitable book of business through strong broker engagement and market visibility
- Evaluate, structure, and price layered and lead umbrella programs in a disciplined underwriting environment
- Partner closely with wholesale brokers to drive deal flow and maintain consistent pipeline activity
- Maintain a balanced approach between new business production and portfolio management
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience underwriting Excess & Umbrella or complex casualty lines
- Strong relationships within the wholesale brokerage community
- Demonstrated ability to produce and manage a profitable book of business
- Sound underwriting judgment with a focus on long-term profitability over short-term growth
