We are actively hiring entrepreneurial oil traders who want to own what they do - strategy, risk, and results - while leveraging a strong balance sheet and proven infrastructure.
This role is ideal for traders operating in niche markets, cross‑barrel strategies, or non‑consensus ideas that require flexibility and trust.
Responsibilities
- Manage a dedicated oil trading portfolio with full P&L accountability
- Execute physical and/or derivatives strategies across oil and cross‑barrels
- Identify relative value, arbitrage, and structural trading opportunities
- Maintain risk discipline in line with internal controls
- Engage closely with commercial, risk, and operations teams
- Contribute to the strategic expansion of the oil trading platform
Requirements
- Experienced physical oil trader
- Proven consistency of results through different market conditions
- Possess your own niche physical oil trading book
- Clear differentiation in how you make money
- Comfort operating independently with full accountability
- Commercial creativity balanced with risk awareness
- Professional approach to counterparties and internal stakeholders
