Senior Fund Accountant
Selby Jennings is supporting a growing fund‑accounting team responsible for financial operations across a wide range of investment vehicles. The position focuses on recurring close activities, reconciliation work, revenue and fee calculations, and preparation of partner‑level reporting. It also requires ongoing collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, along with involvement in group initiatives aimed at improving processes, strengthening controls, and contributing to overall team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month‑end close processes for a portfolio of investment funds.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and record required journal entries.
- Calculate revenue items including management and incentive fees.
- Produce and review capital statements for limited partners.
- Communicate financial information and updates to internal teams and external partners.
- Participate in team‑wide initiatives such as process improvement, internal control enhancements, peer review, and knowledge‑sharing projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, along with an active CPA license.
- Extensive experience (7+ years) working with partnership accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of intermediate accounting concepts and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both internal colleagues and external business partners.
