Senior Family Office Accountant
A boutique financial services firm specializing in comprehensive support for high-net-worth individuals and families is seeking a Senior or Staff Accountant to join its growing team. The firm provides a full suite of services including bill pay, cash flow management, investment tracking, tax coordination, estate planning support, and concierge-level client service. Clients include investment professionals, entrepreneurs, and multi-generational families with complex financial structures.
Key Responsibilities
Client Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain general ledgers and prepare monthly financial statements for individuals, trusts, and related entities.
- Monitor cash flow activity, payroll, insurance policies, and tax payments.
- Process and track bill payments, reimbursements, and investment transactions.
- Prepare and consolidate personal financial statements using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Assist with special projects such as cash flow projections and custom financial reports.
Tax & Estate Planning Support
- Gather and organize documentation for annual tax filings and quarterly estimates.
- Maintain accurate records of executed estate planning documents and related correspondence.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and legal professionals as needed.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Ensure all financial records are accurately filed and maintained in a secure, organized system.
- Support internal accounting and HR functions on an ad hoc basis.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
