Enterprise SaaS Sales Opportunity - Tier 1 Banking Focus - 3-4 days in the NYC office
A rapidly growing fintech firm is seeking a Sales Director to lead new business development efforts focused on Tier 1 banks. This is a quota-carrying, enterprise sales role for a proven SaaS sales executive with experience selling API-based solutions, data connectivity platforms, or open banking technologies into large financial institutions.
The company offers a secure data connectivity platform that enables financial institutions to integrate with a universal suite of open finance APIs. These APIs support connections between aggregators, giving banks full control, visibility, and scalability in their data-sharing ecosystem. The solution is trusted by retail and commercial banks, wealth managers, credit card issuers, and tax providers.
In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial engagement to contract negotiation and close. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and engineering to deliver tailored solutions that meet the complex needs of Tier 1 institutions. Success in this role requires a consultative approach, strong pipeline-building skills, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders (SVP, EVP, C-suite) with strategic value propositions.
Ideal candidates have:
- 7+ years of SaaS sales experience in financial services
- Proven success selling into Tier 1 banks
- Experience with data connectivity or API platforms
- A hunter mindset with strong pipeline-building skills
This is a hybrid role based in NYC (3-4 days/week in office).
