Quantitative Trader - Equity Options
A leading proprietary trading firm known for its dynamic/collaborative culture and strong performance across global markets is looking to diversify their equity options trading business. You will have the autonomy to deploy and manage your own strategies while leaning on other traders and developers to continuously improve the desks performance. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise, a strong track record, and the ability to operate autonomously within a high-performance trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage equity options strategies (discretionary or systematic).
- Analyze market microstructure and identify alpha-generating opportunities.
- Collaborate with quant researchers, developers, and risk managers to optimize strategy performance.
- Monitor and manage real-time risk and exposure across positions.
- Continuously refine models and execution logic based on market feedback and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ YOE in a trading seat ideally focused equity options
- Demonstrated track record of profitability and ability to thrive in all market environments
- Strong understanding of options pricing, volatility modeling, and market dynamics.
- Experience with either discretionary or systematic trading approaches.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
