US Futures Quant Trader / Researcher | Remote
Overview
We are partnering with a rapidly expanding proprietary trading platform that is seeking a US Futures Quant Trader / Researcher to join its growing team.
The business has already established successful trading operations and is continuing to invest in additional markets, strategies, and talent. The firm provides traders and researchers with significant autonomy, capital support, and the infrastructure required to build scalable trading businesses.
This role is well suited to individuals who are passionate about systematic trading and are looking for the opportunity to own a larger part of the investment process.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop systematic futures trading strategies
- Generate and evaluate new alpha opportunities across US futures markets
- Design and implement quantitative models and signals
- Monitor live trading performance and refine strategies accordingly
- Conduct post-trade analysis and performance attribution
- Participate in portfolio construction and risk management decisions
- Work alongside technology and infrastructure teams to improve execution quality
- Contribute to the continued growth of the platform's trading capabilities
Requirements
- Experience trading or researching futures markets
- Background in proprietary trading, systematic trading, or quantitative research
- Strong quantitative and analytical skillset
- Programming ability in Python, C++, or similar languages
- Understanding of market microstructure and execution dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to generate alpha or develop trading strategies
- Entrepreneurial mindset and desire for strategy ownership
