Quantitative C++ Engineer
A leading quantitative technology organization is seeking a Quantitative C++ Engineer to join a highly collaborative team focused on solving complex mathematical and computational problems. Responsibilities
- Partner with researchers and other technical experts to develop and enhance quantitative applications.
- Translate complex mathematical concepts into scalable, production-grade software.
- Design and improve systems that support large-scale modeling, simulation, and analytical workflows.
- Tackle challenging problems involving numerical optimization, calibration, and computational methods.
- Contribute to the architecture and performance of business-critical research and analytics platforms.
- Work in a highly technical environment where mathematical problem solving and software engineering are equally important.
Qualifications
- Strong software development experience in C++.
- Background in numerical analysis, numerical optimization, scientific computing, computational mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Experience implementing mathematically intensive algorithms and models.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with researchers, scientists, quants, or other advanced technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Bachelor's, Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- PhD highly preferred
