Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and intellectually curious Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our London-based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative research, statistical modeling, and algorithmic trading, with a proven ability to generate actionable insights and contribute to alpha generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance quantitative models for pricing, risk management, and trading strategies.
- Conduct research using large datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and predictive signals.
- Collaborate with traders, data scientists, and technologists to implement models in production.
- Evaluate model performance and continuously refine based on market conditions and feedback.
- Stay abreast of academic and industry developments in quantitative finance and machine learning.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related).
- 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role within a financial institution or hedge fund.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar; experience with statistical packages and data analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading mechanics.
- Experience with machine learning, time series analysis, and optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-frequency or systematic trading environments.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of market microstructure and execution algorithms.
