The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Operations & Quality Assurance Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on regulatory compliance, operational workflows, and shared services across underwriting and claims. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about improving processes through data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for regulatory support and shared service operations across core insurance applications.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to align operational strategies and ensure compliance with state and national regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee data reporting for underwriting and claims, including NCCI and independent state bureaus.
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on operations and compliance programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process enhancements.
  • Manage talent development, performance coaching, and engagement strategies to foster a high-performing, psychologically safe team culture.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and support enterprise-wide compliance efforts.
  • Serve as a liaison for agency appointment processes and enterprise-level requests.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably with a focus on workers compensation.
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance reporting and regulatory operations.
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills with a track record of managing teams and driving results.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to make strategic decisions that incorporate diverse perspectives and business needs.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or similar are preferred.
