QIS Equity Quant Strategist Role, Tier 1 Investment Bank, London

Join a leading global bank as a Quantitative Strategist within their QIS division. Contribute to a high-performing team dedicated to the design and implementation of systematic investment solutions, leveraging advanced quantitative models and state-of-the-art technologies. In this role, you will be instrumental in the research, development, and oversight of equity-based indices and index-linked products. Gain invaluable exposure to the way in which systematic strategies are developed and implemented, as well as being given the chance to have your own input into their creation. You will collaborate closely with a seasoned expert who brings three decades of experience in quantitative research and trading, as well as a team of five other highly-skilled strategists. They are keen to drive innovation, enhance systematic investment capabilities and deliver cutting-edge index solutions within the QIS division.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting on trading and structuring tools
- Creating libraries primarily in Python
- Back-testing strategies
- Exposure and input into the creation, development and implementation of strategies
Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative field e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or Financial Engineering.
- Strong programming skills, particularly python and / or C#
- 2-8 years of experience
- Ideally experience working within Equities
