Proprietary Trader
We are partnering with a global, multi-asset investment firm and they are looking to hire a Proprietary Trader to join its team, with a focus on Asia-Pacific interest rate markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies across Japan, Korea, or Australia rates markets, covering government bonds, futures, swaps, and options.
- Conduct macroeconomic and cross-market analysis to identify trading opportunities in Asia-Pacific interest rate markets.
- Manage a trading portfolio with disciplined risk oversight, ensuring consistent performance and compliance with risk frameworks.
- Monitor central bank policies and global macro trends, while collaborating with research and risk teams to refine strategies and insights.
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of proprietary trading experience in Asia-Pacific rates markets, particularly in bonds, futures, or derivatives.
- Proven track record of delivering consistent, risk-adjusted returns.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a relevant degree; advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
- Proficiency in trading systems, strong collaboration skills, and ability to interpret macro data.
