Position Overview:
The Vice President or Senior Associate is a key member of the investment team, responsible for supporting and leading the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and management of private equity investments in the industrials and manufacturing sectors. This onsite role requires close collaboration with senior leadership and portfolio company management teams to drive value creation and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support all phases of the deal process, including sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution.
  • Conduct in-depth industry and market research to identify and evaluate investment opportunities within the industrials and manufacturing sectors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, business owners, and industry executives.
  • Prepare detailed investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee.
  • Oversee portfolio company performance, partnering with management teams to implement strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide insights to inform investment strategy.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development, with a strong focus on industrials or manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading deal processes and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, onsite environment.
