Private Equity Senior Associate
Overview:
We are partnering with a private equity firm seeking a Senior Associate to join its investment team. This role offers significant responsibility across the full deal lifecycle, with direct exposure to senior leadership, portfolio company management teams, and investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial analysis, valuation work, and development of complex LBO and operating models
- Take a central role in deal execution, including managing diligence processes and coordinating third-party advisors
- Evaluate new investment opportunities through industry research, competitive analysis, and thesis development
- Drive the preparation of investment committee materials and present key findings to senior team members
- Work closely with portfolio company management teams on strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and growth execution
- Assist in sourcing efforts, including building relationships with intermediaries, executives, and founders
- Mentor and oversee Associates/Analysts, reviewing workstreams and providing guidance
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related transactional role
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skillset with extensive LBO experience
- Demonstrated deal execution experience and ability to manage workstreams independently
- Preference for experience in services, healthcare and/or industrials
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials
