Role Overview
We are currently representing one of the most impressive emerging managers within the Private Equity space as they are looking to add a Private Equity Associate to their deal team in 2026. The team focuses on lower middle market growth equity and buy-out transactions across a variety of industries. After recently closing on their second fund at the start of the year, the team is looking for a Private Equity Associate to join their team, support deal sourcing, evaluation, diligence, execution, and ongoing portfolio value creation/ management. This opportunity offers the Private Equity Associate the unique opportunity to grow long-term and get direct exposure/ mentorship from senior leadership.
Private Equity Associate Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of investment banking, management consulting, or prior Private Equity experience.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills expected of a top‑tier Private Equity Associate.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in an entrepreneurial, fast‑paced setting.
Private Equity Associate Responsibilities
- Conduct research, market analysis, and financial modeling to support the investment process for the private equity associate function.
- Support due‑diligence workstreams, coordinate with external advisors, and prepare investment committee materials.
- Build and refine operating models, valuation frameworks, and return analyses to support transaction decisions.
- Partner with portfolio company leadership teams on performance tracking, strategic initiatives, and value‑creation projects.
- Contribute to a collaborative, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves culture aligned with the firm's growth‑oriented investment philosophy.
