Company Overview:
A leading Private Equity shop based in the heart of Charleston, SC is looking to grow their team at the Associate level. They take a generalist approach to investing and are looking to close their second fund at the start of the second quarter. The team has built an incredible culture and the Private Equity Associate will have the unique opportunity to grow long-term with the firm assuming the fit is right.
Private Equity Associate Responsibilities:
- Execution of broader market and industry research
- Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and return analysis for various investment targets
- Take point on due diligence processes
- Monitor existing investment portfolio
- Assisting the team with operating/portfolio company work
Private Equity Associate Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of Investment Banking experience
- Strong track record of transaction experience, ideally within industrial, business services, software or related sectors in the middle market.
- Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- A desire to advance within a growing firm and an interest in taking on increasing responsibility.
- Ties to the Southeast (specifically Charleston)
