What You'll Do
- Develop, test, and refine statistically driven trading signals and strategies.
- Analyse large, complex datasets to uncover predictive patterns.
- Collaborate closely with Quant Traders, Developers, and senior Researchers to transform ideas into production models.
- Own end‑to‑end research: hypothesis generation, modelling, simulation, and performance analysis.
- Enhance research tooling and contribute to scalable, robust research pipelines.
What They're Looking For
- PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
- Strong technical foundation in probability, statistics, optimisation, or algorithmic methods.
- Proficiency in Python; experience with C++ is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving ability, research rigour, and intellectual curiosity.
- Interest in systematic trading, financial markets, or large‑scale modelling.
- Strong motivation to transition from academia into an applied quantitative research environment.
