Job Title: Oracle Financial Systems Consultant (Contract)
Location: Miami or New York City, NY (Remote considered)
Contract Type: 12-Month Renewable Contract
Start Date: ASAP

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Financial Systems Consultant to join a high-performing IT team within a leading financial services organization. This is a techno-functional role with a 50/50 split between technical and functional responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle ERP Financials and a solid understanding of financial processes.
The contract is initially 12 months with strong potential for long-term extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support for Oracle ERP Suite, including user access management and issue resolution.
  • Maintain and enhance reporting platforms such as SplashBI, API Wizard, and Web ADI.
  • Develop and support data reports and analytics for finance teams.
  • Manage Oracle Service Requests and coordinate with Oracle Support.
  • Collaborate with managed services and internal IT for change management processes.
  • Analyze and improve existing financial workflows and processes.
  • Support software implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for Oracle build-outs and database interfaces.
  • Assist with interface jobs and WAT jobs as needed.
  • Provide training and onboarding support for new Oracle ERP users.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to special projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle ERP Financials in a techno-functional capacity.
  • Expertise in Oracle Financial Modules: GL, AP, AR, CE, FA.
  • Strong SQL development skills; experience with Toad or SQL Developer.
  • Familiarity with Oracle database administration concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as SplashBI and API Wizard (preferred).
  • Strong financial literacy and understanding of accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or IT-related field.
  • Experience working in financial services or similar regulated environments.
