Location: NYC (hybrid)
Salary: $100k - $130k + bonus
Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing Asset Manager's Operations team, where you'll oversee the full trade lifecycle for options and convertibles and serve as the firm's point of contact for operational matters. You'll work to streamline workflows and bring a deep understanding of prime brokerage. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to thrive in a lean team.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the firm's trade operations workflow, reconciling cash, trades, positions, and P&L across internal systems and external counterparties.
- Partner cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and continuously improve operational processes.
- Coordinate daily with prime brokers and fund administrators to identify and resolve operational discrepancies.
- Oversee pre- and post-trade processes, ensuring accuracy.
- Support treasury and cash management activities, including margin analysis and wire transfers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including prime brokers and fund administrators.
- Contribute to a lean, collaborative team with responsibilities spanning operations, trading, finance, and broader business functions.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
- 4-6 YOE in operations
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting or a STEM related fields
- Deep expertise in excel and the ability to work with large data sets
