Role Overview
Our client is a high-calibre Multi-Asset Execution Trader to deliver best-in-class execution across Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Rates etc. within a global PFM platform. The role sits at the intersection of portfolio management, liquidity sourcing, and market microstructure, with a clear mandate to minimise transaction costs, manage execution risk, and scale trading processes globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Fixed Income and/or FX trades across the markets, spanning both high-touch and low-touch workflows.
- Partner closely with PMs to translate investment intent into efficient execution strategies.
- Source liquidity across dealers, ECNs, and electronic platforms, including illiquid or complex instruments.
- Optimise execution using RFQ protocols, algos, and market colour; continuously improve TCA outcomes.
- Manage intraday execution risk, market impact, and slippage in fast-moving markets.
- Maintain strong counterparty relationships and ensure adherence to best execution and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the enhancement of OMS/EMS workflows, automation, and execution analytics.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in Fixed Income and/or FX execution within asset management, hedge funds, or banks.
- Strong understanding of global market structure, liquidity dynamics, and execution protocols.
- Hands-on experience with electronic trading platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, FX venues).
- Proven ability to operate in a PM-aligned, execution-first trading model.
- Analytical mindset with exposure to TCA, execution analytics, or workflow automation.
- Calm, disciplined execution style with strong communication skills.
