Our client, a prestigious private bank with a strong international footprint, is seeking a seasoned Private Banker to join their Monaco office, focusing on UK-based high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. This is a rare opportunity for a UK-based banker to relocate to Monaco while continuing to serve their UK client base from one of the world's most sophisticated financial hubs.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Maintain and grow a portfolio of UK HNW/UHNW clients, delivering tailored wealth management solutions and exceptional service.Business Development:
Leverage your UK network to identify new opportunities, onboard new clients, and expand the bank's presence in the UK market.Investment & Wealth Advisory:
Partner with internal specialists to provide bespoke investment strategies, wealth structuring, and cross-border financial planning.Regulatory & Compliance Oversight:
Ensure all client activity adheres to both Monaco and UK regulatory standards, with a strong emphasis on risk management and ethical conduct.Collaboration & Integration:
Work closely with Monaco-based teams and UK relationship managers to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in private banking or wealth management, with a focus on UK HNW/UHNW clients.
- Strong understanding of UK financial regulations, tax planning, and cross-border wealth structuring.
- Proven track record of client acquisition and relationship development.
- Fluent in English; French language skills are advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Monaco and travel to the UK as required.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CFA, STEP, RDR-compliant) are highly desirable.
