- Build and maintain connectivity to exchanges, market data feeds, and execution gateways.
- Optimise system performance across throughput, latency, and reliability.
- Work closely with traders, quants, and researchers to translate strategy requirements into scalable software.
- Develop tools for monitoring, simulation, and real‑time risk insights.
- Ensure systems meet the highest standards of resilience, testing, and fault‑tolerance.
- Take ownership of production systems, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Collaborate on architectural decisions and contribute to long‑term technical roadmaps.

- Expert knowledge in C++ (modern C++14/17/20) or Rust for performance‑critical components.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, memory management, and concurrency.
- Experience with exchange protocols (e.g., FIX, ITCH/OUCH, binary gateways) or market‑data systems.
- Proven experience profiling and optimising systems for nanosecond-microsecond performance.
- Strong Linux experience (kernel, networking, performance tuning).
