LLM/AI Quant Developer - Tier 1 Global HFT
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a highly skilled LLM Quant Developer with a strong foundation in statistics and predictive modeling to join their AI-driven quantitative research team. This role combines advanced language model development with statistical analysis to drive insights and decision-making in financial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and fine-tune LLMs for financial forecasting, risk modeling, and alpha generation.
- Apply statistical methods and predictive analytics to extract insights from structured and unstructured financial data.
- Integrate LLMs into quantitative research pipelines and trading systems.
- Collaborate with quants, data scientists, and engineers to build scalable, production-ready models.
- Continuously evaluate and improve model performance using statistical validation techniques.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
- Deep understanding of machine learning, NLP, and statistical modeling.
- Experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA) and ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Proficiency in time-series analysis, regression, Bayesian methods, or probabilistic modeling.
- Familiarity with financial data, trading systems, or quantitative research.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience with model evaluation, backtesting, and real-time inference systems.
- Contributions to open-source projects or published research in NLP or quantitative modeling.
