Linux Engineer

In this role, you'll engineer and support a large fleet of bare‑metal Linux servers while driving automation that enables speed, consistency, and reliability across the infrastructure. You'll troubleshoot complex challenges, build tooling in Python and other languages, and help evolve the provisioning, monitoring, and configuration foundations of the environment. Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across large‑scale Linux systems to ensure stability and performance.
- Develop and maintain automation tools in Python, Bash, and Go to support enterprise‑wide systems management.
- Improve provisioning workflows and configuration management processes for global bare‑metal infrastructure.
- Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities to provide comprehensive fleet visibility.
Skills and Experience
- Strong hands‑on Linux engineering, administration, and provisioning experience.
- Experience with large‑scale configuration management, preferably using Puppet and Hiera.
- Proficiency in Python development for automation, testing, and tooling.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes operations, Docker image workflows, and CI/CD practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
