IR / BD Associate or Senior Associate
A Private Credit manager with just under $2 billion in AUM is looking to bring on a junior-to-mid level investor relations and capital formation professional to join their team in New York. This is an impact-oriented firm that focuses on social impact investing in the tech space. The firm's IR/BD effort has a high degree of responsibility and corresponding visibility with senior management, especially given the boutique nature of the firm. The role requires the ability to prioritize multiple assigned tasks and deliverables in a deadline-oriented environment. Successful candidates are creative problem solvers who have proven ability to produce results. The team is in-person three days a week. Key Responsibilities:
- Support client relationship management efforts with reporting and other fundraising / business development deliverables including ad hoc inquiry responses, presentations, DDQs, RFPs, monthly and quarterly updates, annual letters, etc.
- Support relationship management efforts on the family office, institutional, and consultant channels in order to properly allocate private credit funds
- Assist in the planning of events including roadshows, planning trips, attending conferences, and other investor meetings
- Help maintain the firm's LP records for prospective and existing relationships through the CRM system
- Travel as needed
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-6 years of professional experience at an investment fund, investment bank, management consulting firm, or similar organization
- Private credit or impact investing experience is a plus
- A passion for social and/or environmental impact
