Our client is seeking for an investor relations to join a PE firm in Beijing or Shanghai, to support fundraising in the next two years. This role is ideally suited for candidates with a strong foundation in investment banking or private equity, where they have developed deep financial modeling, transaction execution, and client-facing skills. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of capital markets, deal structuring, and investor expectations, enabling them to effectively communicate complex investment strategies and fund performance to sophisticated institutional investors. Prior experience in fundraising, M&A advisory, or capital raising for alternative investment vehicles is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investment Documentation & Due Diligence:
    • Coordinate the preparation and review of fund documentation, including subscription agreements, side letters, and investor onboarding materials.
    • Manage investor due diligence processes by compiling and maintaining comprehensive data rooms, responding to DDQs, and ensuring timely delivery of legal, compliance, and operational materials.
    • Liaise with legal counsel, fund administrators, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across all investor-facing documents and regulatory filings.
  • Investor Relationship Management:

    • Serve as a key point of contact for existing and prospective LPs, including sovereign wealth funds, pensions, endowments, and family offices.
    • Maintain and update CRM systems with investor interactions and pipeline tracking.
    • Respond to investor inquiries and coordinate due diligence processes
  • Internal Coordination:

    • Work closely with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure alignment on fund documentation and regulatory requirements.
    • Support quarterly reporting, investor updates, and AGM preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 4-8 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or investor relations.
  • Proven track record in fundraising or capital markets, particularly with USD investors.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of private equity fund structures.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
