Join a leading investment management team as an Investment Operations Change Consultant on a one-year contract, where you'll play a pivotal role in a major transformation initiative. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep experience in asset management operations, offering the opportunity to shape future-state processes, enhance controls, and collaborate with senior stakeholders and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Investment Operations Services Lead in a major transformation initiative, shaping future-state processes and workflows aligned with the target operating model.
- Review and refine the scope and responsibilities of investment operations management in line with the evolving operating model.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to define and enhance controls, ensuring a robust end-to-end process that integrates effectively with third-party vendors.
- Partner with key stakeholders and service providers to conduct impact assessments, identifying current ("as-is") and future-state processes, systems, and structures.
- Ensure the quality and completeness of business process reengineering (BPR) documentation prepared by external vendors.
- Identify risk areas, recommend mitigation strategies, and propose new controls to strengthen operational resilience.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and secure formal sign-off on all requirement documentation.
- Liaise with service providers to clarify requirements and understand solution constraints.
- Facilitate workshops with internal and external stakeholders to explore solution options and develop detailed solution design documentation.
- Support project management activities including status reporting, risk and issue tracking, change request evaluation, and governance.
- Contribute to change management efforts by providing relevant information to support effective communication.
- Coordinate discussions between service providers and third parties such as custodians and counterparties to support the future operating model.
