Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Originates new client relationships and maintains long‑standing partnerships with business owners, executives, private equity firms, and strategic acquirers.
- Identifies and secures advisory mandates involving mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other strategic transactions.
- Leads the structuring, negotiation, and execution of buy‑side and sell‑side M&A deals, debt and equity financings, and additional advisory engagements.
- Oversees the creation and review of financial models, valuation analyses, marketing materials, and client presentations, ensuring accuracy and high-quality deliverables.
- Provides deep sector expertise across the Industrials, Food & Beverage, Software, and Business Services markets, advising clients on industry trends, competitive positioning, and strategic alternatives.
- Drives market insight and thought leadership, proactively identifying opportunities for both clients and the firm.
- Guides, mentors, and develops junior and mid‑level bankers, fostering strong execution skills, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Contributes to firm‑wide strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and business development efforts.
- Represents the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, enhancing visibility and strengthening market presence.
Qualifications
- Significant investment banking experience with a demonstrated track record of originating, leading, and closing transactions.
- Strong business development capabilities and the ability to cultivate senior‑level client relationships.
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and transaction structuring.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing execution teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
