Selby Jennings is partnered with a Global Full Service Investment Banking team in San Francisco looking to add an Analyst to their high performing team. The San Francisco office is home to several "Heads of" level bankers, and this platform's Tech team has seen incredible success, closing north of $40Bn+ in 2025.
Ideal canidates are high performing current Analyst 1 or 2s with TMT experience (preferred, but not required) and located in or open to relocate to San Francisco.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast‑paced environment with multiple simultaneous workstreams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality, client‑ready deliverables.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or full‑time experience in investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, private equity, or related analytical fields.
- Familiarity with TMT business models (e.g., SaaS metrics, network infrastructure, media distribution, AI/ML platforms).
- Experience with financial databases such as Capital IQ, FactSet, PitchBook, Bloomberg, or Refinitiv.
