A highly specialized boutique investment bank focused on the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) sector is seeking to expand its team. With a strong presence in Washington, D.C. and a strong pipeline of M&A transactions, the firm has consistently ranked at the top of league tables over the past three years. The team operates in a lean structure, offering direct exposure to senior leadership and clients, and is actively expanding coverage across the U.S. Recent growth includes the opening of a new office and the addition of senior talent from top-performing firms. The firm's deal flow is accelerating, with multiple transactions recently announced and several more expected in the coming weeks making this an exciting time to join a high-impact, fast-moving environment.

Investment Banking Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the execution of M&A transactions, primarily sell-side with some buy-side exposure.
  • Preparing financial models, valuations, and industry analyses.
  • Conducting in-depth research on financial institutions and market trends.
  • Collaborating closely with senior bankers and clients throughout the deal process.
  • Contributing to a lean deal team environment with high visibility and responsibility.

Investment Banking Analyst / Senior Analyst should have the following qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Investment Banking, ideally within FIG or depositories.
  • Strong M&A transaction experience.
  • Backgrounds in Corporate Development, Big 4 (Audit, Assurance, TAS), or Private Equity will also be considered.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and a coach able mindset.
