Investment Banking Analyst II - Technology
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst II to join their Technology Investment Banking team in New York City. This is a fast-paced, high-impact group that operates with lean deal teams and covers a broad spectrum of technology sub-verticals, including software, fintech, IT services, and emerging tech. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical skills and a passion for deal execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior bankers in the execution of M&A, IPO, and capital markets transactions across various technology sectors.
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, trading comps), and industry research.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
- Participate in due diligence processes and interact with clients, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with lean deal teams, gaining exposure to all aspects of transaction execution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of investment banking experience at a reputable firm.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Technology sector experience is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution.
