Our client, a leading multi-strategy hedge fund, is seeking a High Yield Credit Research Analyst to join a dynamic pod in New York City. This is an exceptional opportunity to work closely with a seasoned Portfolio Manager in a collaborative, fast-moving, and performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth credit research and analysis across high-yield issuers, with a particular focus on TMT.
* Develop actionable, trade‑ready investment ideas and provide timely recommendations to the PM.
* Monitor market trends, company fundamentals, and catalysts impacting credit positions.
* Support portfolio construction and contribute to alpha generation through rigorous research and market-aware insight.
Requirements:
* Strong academic background from a top-tier institution.
* Proven experience in high-yield credit-specifically within active trading groups (hedge funds or other live trading environments), not limited to traditional, research-only functions.
* Demonstrated exposure to TMT high-yield credit and familiarity with fast-moving sector dynamics.
* Deep expertise in credit fundamentals, valuation, and market-driven analysis.
* Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, entrepreneurial environment with real-time decision making.
Compensation:
