FX Custody Sales - Associate Director

Our Client, a leading Investment Bank, are hiring for an Associate Director - FX Custody Sales role, with the ideal candidate focusing on institutional client coverage and cross-asset execution. This role is designed for a candidate with deep expertise in APAC and CEEMEA currency markets, a strong understanding of regional regulatory frameworks, and a proven ability to manage and grow relationships with UK-based institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and deepen strategic relationships with institutional clients based in the UK, including brokers, banks, and asset managers, with a focus on delivering tailored financial solutions.
  • Provide clients with actionable market intelligence, pricing strategies, and execution insights across a broad range of asset classes, including Fixed Income and Equities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering timely updates on macroeconomic developments, regulatory changes, and trading opportunities, particularly within APAC and CEEMEA markets.
  • Ensure all trading activity and client interactions are conducted in full compliance with relevant APAC regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal trading desks, structuring teams, and product specialists to deliver seamless execution and innovative client solutions.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of global market trends, with a particular focus on G10, G20, and restricted currencies, and their implications for institutional clients.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth of the institutional business by identifying new opportunities, enhancing client engagement, and supporting cross-border initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience working with APAC and CEEMEA currencies, with a strong understanding of regional trading regulations, compliance protocols, and market infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and expanding relationships with UK-based institutional clients, including a strong network across Fixed Income and Equity markets.
  • Deep familiarity with G10, G20, and restricted currencies, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
