Position Summary
The FP&A Manager will partner closely with senior finance leadership to support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, financial reporting, and strategic analysis. This role offers visibility across the organization and the opportunity to contribute directly to key business and financial decisions.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of building complex financial models that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecast cycle, and long-range financial planning.
- Analyze monthly financial performance and identify key drivers of variances against budget and forecast.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making.
- Monitor financial and operational trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
Financial Modeling & Strategic Finance
- Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate historical performance and forecast future results.
- Support business planning initiatives through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Assist with strategic growth initiatives, capital planning, and corporate finance projects.
- Participate in evaluating new business opportunities and strategic investments.
Executive & Board Reporting
- Prepare presentations and supporting materials for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Develop concise summaries of financial performance, projections, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with operational, finance, and business leaders across the organization.
- Support initiatives focused on improving organizational performance and operational efficiency.
- Assist with various regulatory and management reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or related experience.
- Advanced financial modeling and forecasting experience.
- Strong Excel skills with experience building and maintaining complex models.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred
- Healthcare, managed care, insurance, or healthcare services experience.
- Experience supporting executive leadership, board reporting, or investor-related analyses.
- Exposure to capital planning, financing activities, or M&A transactions.
- Experience working within a high-growth or rapidly changing organization.
