Financing Analyst - Buyside

My Client, a $12bn Alternative Credit Hedge Fund, is looking to add a financing analyst to their growing team. This is a high-impact role focused on managing and executing complex financing transactions across liquid credit, Repo, PB, and TRS (including Loan TRS). Ideally someone with around 5 years of relevant experience.

Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage complex financing transactions, including liquid credit financing, repo, prime brokerage, and total return swaps (including loan TRS).
• Structure, price, and negotiate back-leverage transactions.
• Deliver market insights, trade ideas, and tailored financing solutions to clients.
• Work closely with internal teams-such as trading, risk management, and operations-to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
• Track market developments and trends to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry changes.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience; buy-side background preferred but not required.
• Expertise in liquid credit financing, repo, prime brokerage, and total return swaps (including loan TRS), with a focus on pricing, structuring, and negotiation.
• Experience with structured financing transactions is highly valued.
• Prior exposure to margin optimization at a buy-side firm is a plus.
• Strong quantitative skills; coding ability is an advantage.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financing partners.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
